Fat Loss Day 4

Hi Everyone

I have been doing research on different things that cause me to gain weight.  I might be an emotional eater but I don't think I eat so much that I would be gaining.  After journaling for three days, I discovered a couple of things.

One, I don't eat enough veggies period.  In my diet they were non-existent. In discovering that I eat like zero veggies, I ran across Joe Cross Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead.  Wow!  The one thing that could help me lose weight and be healthy is veggies and fruit. Hmm.  Well, I have decided to keep track of my veggies.  In fact they need to comprise 60% of my diet. 

The second thing I noticed was since I started drinking a protein shake each morning my weight had gone up!  What?!  At first I thought is was the milk so  this week I changed it to be Almond Milk.  Then I did research on Whey protein and found that its not actually good for me.  So I gave up the whey protein and started to lose weight again.  I found on Amazon a protein powder that is all natural and doesn't contain soy or whey:

Finally I discovered I wasn't drinking enough water.  I was getting less that 40 oz of water a day when the minimum is 64oz.  So I increased my water intake and wow what a difference. 
 
Next week I am going to try Urban Remedy, a 3 day program of juicing.  It is organic and has great reviews. At least until I figure out how to juice myself.  I know that I need to eat more fruits and veggies, eat rice and potatoes and fish.  So for the next two weeks I am going to focus on that.
