Well there have been so many challenges with this weight loss. Since I have issues with my Thyroid, it makes it all the harder. What I have noticed is that my body doesn't like gluten at all and I find that it makes me feel worse. I still want to get started juicing and need a starting point.
I found a company that does three day juice cleanse with no cayenne pepper which can be hard on the tummy. The juices are set to be delivered on Wednesday.
From what I have read, a raw food diet is supposed to be 75% raw foods. So fruit in the morning, salads and soups through out the day. Many doctors recommend a diet based on fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds as it is the easiest to digest. With a thyriod issue, red meat, grains, and white sugar only makes it worse.
As for exercise, I am going back to the basics. Walking is easy, I get outside and I can walk for long periods of time. It is low stress an the body and great for the heart. Eventually, I will add some upper body and toning but for now I just want to keep it simple to allow my body to heal itself.
